چکیده
Abstract There are few adapted SIR models in the literature that combine vaccination and logistic growth. In this article, we study bifurcations of a model where class Susceptible individuals grows logistically has been subject to constant vaccination. We explicitly prove endemic equilibrium is codimension two singularity parameter space $$(\mathcal {R}_0, p)$$ ( R 0 , p ) , $$\mathcal {R}_0$$ basic reproduction number p proportion successfully vaccinated at birth. exhibit Hopf transcritical Belyakov heteroclinic saddle-node bifurcation curves unfolding . Stability Analysis and Optimal Control of Vaccination and Treatment of a SIR Epidemiological Deterministic Model with Relapse
In this paper, we studied and formulated the relapsed SIR model of a constant size population with standard incidence rate. Also, the optimal control problem with treatment and vaccination as controls, subject to the model is formulated. The analysis carried out on the model, clearly showed that the infection free steady state is globally asymptotically stable if the bas...
متن کاملQualitative and bifurcation analysis using an SIR model with a saturated treatment function
In this paper, we introduce a saturated treatment function into the SIR epidemic model with a bilinear incidence rate and density-dependent demographics, where the treatment function is limited for increasing number of infected individuals. By carrying out global qualitative and bifurcation analysis, it is shown that the system exhibits some new and complicated behaviors: if the basic reproduct...
متن کاملStability on Coupling Sir Epidemic Model with Vaccination
We develop a mathematical model for the disease which can be transmitted via vector and through blood transfusion in host population. The host population is structured by the chronological age. We assume that the instantaneous death and infection rates depend on the age. Applying semigroup theory and so forth, we investigate the existence of equilibria. We also discuss local stability of steady...
متن کاملStability analysis and optimal control of an SIR epidemic model with vaccination
This paper focuses on the study of a nonlinear mathematical SIR epidemic model with a vaccination program. We have discussed the existence and the stability of both the disease free and endemic equilibrium. Vaccine induced reproduction number is determined and the impact of vaccination in reducing the vaccine induced reproduction number is discussed. Then to achieve control of the disease, a co...
متن کاملAnalysis of an SIR Epidemic Model with Pulse Vaccination and Distributed Time Delay
Pulse vaccination, the repeated application of vaccine over a defined age range, is gaining prominence as an effective strategy for the elimination of infectious diseases. An SIR epidemic model with pulse vaccination and distributed time delay is proposed in this paper. Using the discrete dynamical system determined by the stroboscopic map, we obtain the exact infection-free periodic solution o...
